Hi everyone. My name’s Danielle Janov and I operate Crosscut Artistry out of my workshop in Sacramento, California. I’m a wood and resin artist that creates different types of tables and functional art out of wood and resin. I have a passion for preserving and giving a new life to these beautiful trees that have stood for decades. Each slab has unique shape, pattern, grain and texture that tells a story. The voids and natural cracks in the wood are filled with resin and polished smooth, creating not just a piece of furniture. But a unique piece of art that’s a conversation starter, a statement piece that will last for generations. All art work is designed, handmade and created by me personally.
